I have long had a girl-crush on Los-Angeles based stylist Jessica de Ruiter but, after reading a recent profile on Refinery 29, my crush has become a full-blown obsession. I love her long, California-girl locks (what I wish mine could be) and her style, which is a mix of preppy and 70's beach. My interest was first piqued when I spotted her in an old issue of the now-defunct Domino Magazine, in a section entitled "Outfit to Room." Sicne then, I have spotted her on the Sartorialist, and a back issue of Domino's sister mag, Lucky. I love that she sticks with one look (my style is a bit more eclectic, though I'd like to streamline it) and is typically seen in a men's-style button up oxford, with perfectly fitted shorts or a pencil skirt, and always sick, sick shoes.
