some new favorite tunes...

I have a list of songs that have been playing on repeat on my iPod, yet I can't seem to find them on Project Playlist...so no luck with putting them here on the blog. However, I thought I'd share them anyway, so those that are so inclined can look them up on iTunes or wherever.

Wave Machine: The Line
Since first coming across this song a couple weeks ago, I have been obsessed. This is the perfect dance song and the singer's voice is so Bee Gees.

Jeremy Jay: Slow Dance II
This song is very short and very old-fashioned, which is exactly why I love it-when I hear it, I want to dress in head-to-toe vintage and host a glamorous dinner party. There are very few lyrics, but it serves as the perfect background music for a little get-together.

Peter Broderick: The Dream
Though this song has no lyrics to speak of, I find it to be excruciatingly beautiful. Whenever I hear music, I gather certain images in my head, and this song makes me think of the beach-specifically, running on the sand and playing in the ocean. It takes a while to get to the really good part but if you listen long enough, you won't be disappointed. This song would be perfect as the score to a really amazing film - maybe set in Montauk.
